Instagram has become gained so many users over the years because of its high-quality pictures and videos.

It has created opportunities for so many brands, in using of branding and hashtags and helped them reach their potential customers. They can use Instagram even if they don’t have a tangible product.

Create Instagram ad on your post

If you use a Instagram business account, this is for you, you can create the post directly from your posts.

Go to your page, navigate to your profile and select promote on the post you’ll like to promote.

Having done this, you can select your target audience, location, age etc. Then you can also select the price range.

This method is the most basic of all, there are other methods I’ll be sharing.

Stories ads

Instagram stories ads appear in between people’s stories

There are two different stories ad format, picture format and video format

To create stories ads select “Reach” objectives and select stories

Then you upload picture you will like to use for the ad

To use a video, once you select your video which shouldn’t be more than 15 seconds

Then select the thumbnail, which is the image people see before they play your video, you can also add a call-to-action button.

And that’s it!

Video ads

A video ad consist of a single video or Gif

Select the video you’ll like to promote, then chose the video thumbnail, add a caption and follow the other patterns as described above

Slideshow ads

Slideshow ads are basically video ads on a loop with as many as 10 images with music

How to create them:

Upload a slideshow from your library or create a new slideshow using the slideshow creator in Facebook Ads Manager.

You simply have to upload images, arrange them, adjust your settings, and add in music.

Choose a thumbnail, then a caption and add a website URL if you want.

You can even use an existing post from Facebook for an Instagram ad. This tactic is great to keep in mind for Facebook posts that performed well in the past.

You can also use carousel ads to showcase several images or videos at a time.

Explore ads

These ads are found under Instagram’s Explore tab, where most go to discover photos and videos related to their specific interests from accounts they may not already follow

To create an explore ad I recommend you use Facebook ads Manager

In Facebook Ads Manager, create a new ad by selecting +Create, or edit an existing ad.

Choose an objective that supports Instagram Explore as an ad placement (all major objectives are supported), and select Continue.

Complete the details for your ad set.

Under Placements, Instagram Explore is available as an Automatic Placement. If you choose Edit Placements, check the box for Explore under Instagram

Select Continue, once your ad gets approved that’s it!
